Well apparently, Anthropic’s Mythos is too dangerous to be let out in the world, and my unicorn is overfed and immobile – any of these statements could be true, except we know none is! Not because Anthropic is particularly lying, but because I am having a deja vu due to OpeanAI’s claims back in the day.
Do you all remember when OpenAI announced something similar about ChatGPT 3 in 2024? I was really
And even if Claude Mythos has done all the things its mentioned in the document, I dont really see how it can be dangerous. Well maybe the average human who is afraid to Google basic questions thinks AI is magical, the reality is far away. As a non coder myself, I have found little value in any AI model so far.
I have tried everything. From asking about complex medical problems to every day work related minprities, AI has helped me save crucial time. However, is saving 20 minutes a day worth paying 20 dolars a month to Anthropic? (Dont make me feel guilty, we all switched to Claude from ChatGPT like in January, we all just dont wanna accept it)
When talking to my partner about the advent of AI, who is a spftware engineer and probably uses maximum AI everyday – I asked a fundamental question.
if AI disappears today, will any industry cease to exit?
This question is simply to analyse AI from a point of view of a regular day jober like me. Comparing AI to revolutionary technologies is a true insult to the innovators of the past. Today, if my internet was to go out, I would be left stranded without work. Bur today if AI goes out, it wont reallt do… anything at all!
That is the whole point of this. Maybe, in future, there will come a time where a form of AI becomes our bread and butter, and we are fully dependent on it. Much like the early days of internet where we all would
